The history of Skull Valley is as expansive as it’s land. Named after the first pioneers exploring the Valley discovered piles of skulls left behind by war between the Apache and Maricopa tribes.
Skull Valley’s elevation and access to water has encouraged crop and livestock growth. Today, free range cattle still roam, and cowboy’s still work the land. Leaving a piece of the American West still whole.
Our land is surrounded by the sweeping beauty of Prescott National Forest- 950 miles of awe-inspiring trails and 100,000 wild acres. Our philosophy is to provide a unique riding experience while preserving the rugged nature of our land and its wildlife.
